Her stylist Natasha Archer has been liaising with her throughout her maternity leave, and the duchess has also reportedly been seeking advice from former British Vogue fashion editor Virginia Chadwyck-Healy.

Not surprisingly there were more photographers than usual for such a low-key tussle, most with their lenses trained on the duchess, wearing an elegant white dress.

Kate Middleton attended day two of Wimbledon 2019 on Tuesday.

The Duchess of Cambridge was all smiles as she was joined by two good friends, Katie Boulter and Anne Keothavong - and they didn't sit in the royal box! Later in the day, the Duchess switch up the centre court, where she watched the first round of the ladies' singles - Angelique Kerber vs Tatijana Maria - this time from the royal box.

In an unusual move for a member of the Royal Family, Kate, 37, opted to sit among the regular seats to watch the match instead.

She was spotted taking her seat at an outside court at Wimbledon where British player Harriet Dart was in action.

The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at London's All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in a custom white shirt dress by luxury womenswear brand Suzannah.

The British sporting event is also a firm favourite among the royals, with everyone from the late Princess Margaret to the Duchess of Sussex attending over the years.

And yesterday, Kate marked the opening of the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival, which features her "Back to Nature" garden, by inviting children from several of her patronages for a picnic.

Dan Evans has revealed how some lonely practice sessions this time previous year helped fuel his desire to get back to Wimbledon.

"It's pretty surreal." Despite the turnaround in form after Kate left, Dart said the presence of royalty had not inhibited her.
