‘Borderlands 3’ Trailer Dives Deep Into Gearbox’s Next Big Borderlands Game

Posted March 29, 2019

It shows that pretty much everyone who survived Borderlands 2 is returning for Borderlands 3, there will be new big bads (a man and a woman, apparently), and loads and loads of guns.

Update: While we await more details about this next Borderlands game, Randy Pitchford demoed Tiny Tina's Robot Tea Party card game, the first board game to use the Borderlands license.

Here is the Borderlands 3 reveal trailer. There will also be some small additions that improve the experience, including a new minimap like the one found in Borderlands 2.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is out now for PS4 and Xbox One.

That said, in spite of some new changes to environments and vehicles, the game still looks like the same old Borderlands in terms of gameplay.

The series, which started in 2009 and has found large critical and commercial success across its two primary installments, as well as 2014's The Pre-Sequel! and Telltale Games spin-off Tales From the Borderlands.

Beyond that, however, there's barely any more information, let alone word on the Borderlands 3 release date, or Epic Games store exclusivity. After years of waiting, Borderlands 3 has been revealed, and you can see it in action via the announcement trailer that we've embedded above.

The "Borderlands" games kicked off in 2009, delivering a seemingly unending supply of unusual guns to the colorful space western backdrop of Pandora.

If you own the original Borderlands on Steam, you'll be able to get all the new remaster content for free.

"Battle royale games are fun".
