The north Londoners have been drawn to face Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund in the last-16 and it's sure to be an exciting double-header between two attacking sides.

Klopp added: "In the last couple of years they have dominated the German league in the best period of German football. We are looking forward to it", Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said of the tie with Liverpool.

While Group A runners up Atletico Madrid will face Juventus.

"I foresee two very even matches, with few goals".

Liverpool booked their place in the last-16 thanks to a dramatic 1-0 victory over Napoli at Anfield last week. Not only for us, but for any team.

Having made it to the final last season, Liverpool endured a mixed time of things in the group stages, losing all three away games. "This year we have the Champions League again". The chances are, in my view 50:50. The team has top players.

Speaking after the draw, Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans Joachim Watzke said, "In the round of 16 there are only tough games".

"It's always hard to play Manchester United", said PSG boss Thomas Tuchel. They should make light work of Lyon and will be Liverpool's biggest threat in the competition.

"Schalke will be hard".

"I have the sense they are a very risky team in space because they break very well, very fast, and we have to be a little careful".

I backed City to go all the way at the start of the season and still believe they will do so, despite chinks in their armour being revealed during a group stage defeat to Lyon.

Anfield will host the first leg February 19.

'We all know the stadium, the atmosphere will be great. "Barca are more experienced and stronger but over two matches anything is possible", Gerard Houllier, who holds an advisory role at the French club, told RMC Sport. "Everything is a bonus for Lyon".

The Lilywhites have been drawn to face the Bundesliga leaders in the last 16 of the Champions League, with the first leg of the tie scheduled to take place on 13th February and the second leg, away in Germany on 5th March.
