- Ocala Police say a 55-year-old man, accused of shooting and killing a woman inside a Walmart, was taken into custody.
The shooting broke out in the garden section of a Walmart store in Ocala.
They did, however, describe her as a 30-year-old.
The victim was pronounced dead, but her name has not been released.
Police say the suspect suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was alive when he was taken to the hospital.
The Ocala Fire Department said on Facebook that emergency responders returned to the shooting scene to treat three people. Police also said via Twitter that they will be releasing a photo of the suspect as soon as possible. Her death was confirmed by the Ocala police by a tweet at 2:52 p.m.

Scotty Ballard told the Ocala Star-Banner that Cronin was his roommate and that Johnson and Cronin had dated for about nine months but weren't now together. When she got outside the Walmart in Ocala she saw the man riding a bicycle away from the store. The woman died at a hospital. They were fighting near the Walmart garden section Saturday afternoon when the woman screamed for help.
Personnel at the store called police and attempted to intervene but the woman died.
