There is a new "Desert" biome and two new locations, Paradise Palms and Lazy Links.
Fortnite is now offline on all platforms while it's getting patched and updated ready to support Season 5. As we mentioned though, you can find all this detail in the above gallery which will make sure you don't get lost.
Are you aiming to complete all of Fortnite's Road Trip Challenges for Season 5?
Like other challenges that task you with tracking down certain items, the Lightning Bolts can be found in various parts of the island. Rewards change each Season, so check out the Battle Pass tab in the game to see what can be earned.
"Fortnite" season 5 also adds a new vehicle that will allow players to travel through the battle royale map faster.
Those objects aren't the only things getting teleported - players can also take advantage of rifts and get zapped into the air to get a better look at the surrounding area and maybe get a drop on an enemy.
The Season 5 mystery outfit still hasn't been revealed or datamined just yet and if it's anything like the skin we got in Season 4 - "The Visitor" for those who don't remember - then it's likely we won't see this until Week 7. You will also unlock the Battle Pass challenges, including the new Drift and Road Trip challenges, and five free tiers. "You're in for a wild ride", writes Epic Games in the description of the rifts.
A brand new vehicle has been added: the All Terrain Kart or ATK. The game made major updates, including three new locations. Do not forget to complete Weekly Challenges to level up faster!
The Lightning Bolts are always located in the same areas, and there are more than seven scattered around the island, so it should be easy enough to complete the challenge once you know where to find them. Most importantly, however, there will be a small delay when you want to fire a shotgun straight after using another, so this will stop people stacking and spraying the hell out of each other with pumps.
