Could this be LeBron James’ final home game in Cleveland?

Posted June 09, 2018

The Golden State Warriors blew out the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-85 in game four of the NBA Finals to complete the sweep and claim their second straight NBA championship.

Durant, the engine behind the Warriors' offensive juggernaut, averaged 28.8 points, 10.8 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game as his team needed four games to dispose of the LeBron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.

But James said he was still focused on winning championships, something he achieved in 2016, but has struggled to continue to do in Cleveland. Especially where my boys are at this stage, they were a lot younger last time I made this decision four years ago. Battling either the Warriors or Rockets before even reaching the Conference Finals could be too much to handle. "I hope that doesn't sound arrogant. As long as we're doing the right thing, we're in the right spots, we're helping each other out on defence, it just works for us". "But it was hard".

Virtually every word James has uttered over the past week would lead one to believe that he is prepared to leave the Cavaliers. "He's just an fantastic human being, and I'm incredibly lucky to coach him". "So I don't have an answer for you right now". We always keep our eye on them, of course, and there have been kind of three different versions of their team.

The NBA season started earlier than the previous norms this year, part of the league's initiative to add days to the schedule in order to limit back-to-backs and help get players more rest during the 82-game regular season grind. It didn't look like they were going to have enough.

It was the fourth consecutive year the two teams had met in the final and may be the last game in a Cleveland uniform for LeBron James who can decide this summer to seek another team where he could have more support in trying to defeat the star-laden Warriors. "But what (Cavaliers coach) Ty (Lue) did with his group and obviously what LeBron does night after night is just incredible". He got seven of the 11 votes cast by the media, with Curry getting the other four.

James scored 51 points in the game, going 7 of 16 from the field on shots from 10 feet and out in Game 1.

"Steph went out and recruited KD with this in mind", Kerr said. And I had emotions that the game was taken away from us.

The Cavs' talisman reportedly suffered the injury after punching a blackboard in frustration after his side spurned an opportunity to win in the final seconds. It was all about let's win championships together, and that's what this is about. And then you've got a guy in Klay (Thompson) who could easily be on a team and carry a team, scored 40 in a quarter before. The Warriors' triumph demanded the focus and sacrifice that all National Basketball Association titles do.

As a team, the Cavaliers shot just 43 percent from the field and nine of 31 from the three-point line which was good enough to keep them in the game due to their defense, but they just had no answer for Kevin Durant who scorched them for a game-high 43 points on 15 of 23 shooting. "I pretty much played the last three games with a broken hand, so that's what it is".

James, 33, said after the game that he had "no idea" if he had played his last game for the Cavs, with speculation that he could move on when he becomes a free agent next month.
