And who knows? If all goes well, maybe The Fresh Prince will even treat World Cup fans with a few throwback tracks.
Hollywood star Will Smith will perform the official song for this summer's Russian Federation 2018 World Cup, linking up with US-born singer-songwriter Nicky Jam and Kosovar pop star Era Istrefi to make the track.
According to reports in Billboard and other publications, the track is to be released on 25 May, and is being produced by Diplo, the United States producer behind hits with his group Major Lazer including Lean On and Cold Water.
Smith's last album - "Lost and Found" - was released in 2005, and he'll have big shoes to fill to live up to past anthems like Shakira's "Waka Waka" and Ricky Martin's "The Cup of Life".
Before news of the World Cup song leaked out, Smith and Nicky Jam were already talking about each other on social media.
Will Smith will take on the world this summer when he makes his grand return to the music scene. It's also been reported that Diplo produced the track.
The star had also hinted at the World Cup collaboration earlier in the week, tweeting a picture with the caption "The best of everything is the process". "They're making this big song and it's just so insane."Allegedly, Smith and Nicky were in Budapest recently finishing the song".
As for the World Cup, part of the global soccer event is the official anthem, which usually is performed at the opening or closing ceremony. This year it will be Colors by Jason Derulo and Maluma.
