McEntire is a 16-time ACM award victor, and she's among the singers competing for Female Vocalist of the Year. "Body Like a Back Road" is nominated for song of the year and single record of the year. The track's producer, Scott Hendricks, also is an Oklahoma native.

Carrie Underwood shared another photo of her healing face ahead of her first performance since her November 10 accident.

Other performers who were previously announced for the ACMs telecast include Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Midland, Maren Morris, Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood and Brett Young.
