Bull City Burger is celebrating its sixth anniversary by serving burgers with meats from around the globe.
Should they finish the burger and their side of fries they win a limited edition T-shirt and have their picture taken for "social media fame and glory".
A North Carolina craft brewery is pushing the boundaries of what is considered edible, proudly offering customers the chance to eat a tarantula burger. Surprisingly, the burger has been so popular the restaurant is holding a raffle to select the "winners" of the burger.
Once the raffle number is drawn, the victor has 2 days to schedule a date with their Tarantula Burger: a pasture-raised NC beef burger, gruyere cheese, oven-roasted tarantula, and spicy chili sauce.
But adults seem to be onboard with items like bug ice cream, bug burgers, rabbit meatball subs, plus creations made from camel, elk, alligator, python, duck, ostrich, boar, turtle, caribou, reindeer, goat, and Rocky Mountain Oysters - otherwise known as cattle testicles. It's topped with an oven-roasted tarantula.
Well, the Tarantula Challenge (that's what they're calling it) is by lottery only.
It's Exotic Meat Month and a North Carolina brewery is taking the opportunity to introduce customers to all types of meats.
