On Wednesday, he confirmed his intention to launch strikes on Syria, tweeting that Russia should "get ready" and brace for the incoming missiles, which would be "nice and new and 'smart.'" Ahead of the U.S. president's statement, Russian officials vowed to shoot down any incoming projectiles in Syria and target the locations from which they would be launched.

President Trump Wednesday issued another stern warning to Russian Federation for its alleged role in a suspected chemical attack in Syria over the weekend, stating that a missile attack was possible.

'The chemical weapons attack that took place on Saturday in Douma in Syria was a shocking and barbaric act, ' she said in Birmingham.

He added that both sides should avoid a military confrontation, and said "we are ready to hold negotiations".

Yet Trump broke his own rule with this tweet, letting Russia, Syria, and the rest of the world know that a missile strike is on the way. "We need all nations to work together", President Trump Twitted.

The warning comes as Russian Federation vowed to protect the Assad regime against foreign incursion.

And Russian Army Gen. Valery Gerasimov also warned the U.S. Tuesday, if it were to launch airstrikes against Syria.

"President Putin, Russia and Iran are responsible for backing Animal Assad", Trump tweeted.

At least 43 people were killed and more than 500 needed treatment over the suspected nevere agent gas attack on the rebel enclave in Eastern Ghouta.

Vladimir Chizhov, Russia's ambassador to the European Union, told Euronews that Russia is "shocked by yet another provocation with the so-called chemical attack in Douma".

"It's not at all unusual that it (the United States) supports the terrorists in Ghouta and condones their fabrications and lies to use them as a pretext to target Syria", the official source said.

Meanwhile, The Telegraph has reported that British submarines are being moved within "missile range" of Syria - and that military action could start on Thursday night.

The same think tanks and their spokesmen had performed the same task repeatedly in the past in demonizing the peoples and governments of such countries as Libya, Iraq and Iran, as preparation before attacking them, just as they were doing to Russian Federation and Syria today, Pierce said.
