IOS 11.3, macOS 10.13.4, tvOS 11.3, and watchOS 4.3 Now Available

The Battery Health tool, which is now available in the operating system's beta release, will tell you how well your battery functions and whether the speed-slowing power management feature has been activated on your device, according to an announcement from Apple.

Apple has released the iOS 11.3 update, which contains an important new option to disable the controversial battery throttling "feature" that slows down older iPhones.

The new version includes new Animoji characters for iPhone X, improved ARKit for more advanced augmented reality, and the ability to increase the battery life as well as boost the performance of processor.

First of all, the iOS 11.3 update comes with a new Battery Health feature, located in Settings.

For iPhone X owners, you'll be getting four new animated "Animoji" emoji: a lion, a bear, a dragon and a skull.

The update also includes new information about your iPhone's battery health.

The new features are contained within a new "Battery Health" menu, which is under the "Battery" tab on iOS 11.3. It also provides health of handset battery.

Apple's changes are created to give users the right to data portability, a new right introduced by GDPR, by allowing them to get a copy of their data which can be transferred to another service.

If your phone battery is in reduced state, you'll get a message to that effect. There's no mention of iMessages in iCloud, a feature we've already seen in iOS 11.3 betas, and which we expected to see in the final release.

Users will also be able to view their own health records within the Health app, depending on the information participating health institutions have shared, and receive updates from test results, conditions and changes in medication.

However Apple has not yet fixed the bug, they may fix it in the future OS versions (possibly iOS 11.3).
