Lakers rout Thunder for 4th straight win

Despite playing well with the Oklahoma City Thunder, many people still believe Paul George's future in the National Basketball Association is still up in the air, as there is still rumors stating he could switch to the Los Angeles Lakers over the summer.

The Thunder are coming off a morale-boosting 125-105 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, ending their four-game losing slump which included the 108-104 loss to the Lakers on Super Bowl Sunday.

"We have a core of guys that if we all stick together and grow can be really special", Kuzma said.

"I don't know if whether I'm going to LA, or what I'm going to do this offseason", George adds.

The Thunder led by as many as nine points in the first quarter, then the Lakers started to heat up, and by the end of the quarter, led 30-27. Steven Adams had 13 points and nine rebounds as the Thunder lost for the fifth time in six games.

OKC got off to quick start behind Paul George, who had 29 points and hit five 3-pointers.

Thunder: Raymond Felton had seven points, five rebounds and three assists as he took Westbrook's place in the starting lineup.

"That's what we're trying to do", Donovan said. Patrick Patterson, who replaced Anthony, was scoreless in 26 minutes.

George scored 22 first-half points but the Thunder trailed 52-46 at the break. Ingram handled point guard duties with rookie Lonzo Ball sitting out his 11th straight game with knee soreness.

With Thomas and Frye on expiring contracts, the Lakers now have a path to add two marquee players in free agency this summer or in 2019.

"At the end of the season, it's still on my decision on what I need to do for my family", the All-Star forward told Amick. "So, it's just different guys gotta step up, and I think that's why you have a complement of players and guys have an opportunity to fill roles and help our team if those guys are in a position that they can't play".

Lakers: Open a three-game trip at the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
