Why is 'Shark Week' and 'Forbes' trending on Twitter?

Stormy Daniels, the adult actress with whom President Trump allegedly had an affair in 2006, reportedly spanked the "Apprentice" host during one sexual encounter-and did it with a copy of Forbes magazine that featured him on the cover. So, why did it take until 2018 for the alleged affair to make headlines? But outlets were pursuing the story seemingly long before that.

Daniels told In Touch magazine that she and Trump had several more encounters over the next few years.

They made the lurid revelation shortly after it was claimed Donald had once compared Stormy, real name Stephanie Clifford, to his daughter Ivanka, 36.

The porn star also claimed Trump compared her to Ivanka, saying: "He once told me that I was someone to be reckoned with, lovely and smart just like his daughter". Jacob Weisberg, editor-in-chief of the Slate Group, told the Times that Clifford had told him she had an affair with Trump. "When I got there, he was already with him".

Both consultants have confirmed to the outlet that they did exchange the emails, with the unnamed consultant saying that according to Daniels, this was during a series of sexual encounters with Trump.

Clifford told In Touch that she had sex with Trump at his Lake Tahoe, NV, hotel suite in 2006. After having sex, Trump repeatedly said that he would call her and that he needed to see her again. When the former adult star questioned Trump about his wife Melania, the President, it is claimed, said: "Oh, don't worry about her". He never published anything about the claims ahead of the election. More details of their affair are being revealed, like the fact that he didn't wear a condom when he boned her.

From that point on, Stormy said Mr Trump called her often, meeting with her on several occasions - even telling her "I was someone to be reckoned with, attractive and smart just like his daughter". "ABC, Fox News, The Daily Beast, Slate all had the opportunity to run the story and decided not to". On Friday, the New York Times reported that Clifford had also been in touch with the online magazine Slate.
