Black Widow, Winter Soldier & Venom Join Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

Posted November 23, 2017

As expected, Winter Soldier and Black Widow look like their Marvel Cinematic Universe counterparts, while Venom resembles his classic comic book incarnation.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite ups its anti-hero quota with the gameplay trailer for next month's bonus characters - Black Widow, Winter Soldier and Venom. All three will be available for download on December 5.

Winter Soldier, also known as Bucky Barnes, was Captain America's friend and sidekick during World War II before being captured and experimented on to become a hitman for the enemy.

This isn't the first DLC character pack released for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.

Unlocking any of these characters, either individually or with the character pass, will also unlock their respective premium costume. Venom is an aggressive fighter with a Venom Glide that can let him zip in one of six directions around the screen. Capcom released a trailer announcing the release of these three characters.

Winter Soldier meanwhile is seen punishing his opponents by using his metal arm and a range of different firearms.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is available now for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. As a thanks (Happy Thanksgiving) to players of the game, Capcom will be hosting a free demo weekend starting this Friday, the 24th starting at 8 a.m. PST and going until Monday the 27th ending at 8 a.m. PST.

All three will be available to play in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite on December 5.
