Louis CK accused of sexual misconduct, New York Times reports

Chicago comedy duo Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov described how, after their big-break performance at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colo., in 2002, C.K. invited them to hang out in his hotel room for a nightcap.

"I think it's important to take care of [those misconduct claims], to handle that, because it's serious to be assaulted", Notaro said of the comedian.

"He proceeded to take all of his clothes off, and get completely naked, and started masturbating", Goodman said. She said Louis C.K. had made an inappropriate comment to her and she no longer considers him a friend.

The distributor behind the Louis C.K. film I Love You, Daddy, said today that it is "giving careful consideration to the timing and release of the film" in the wake of a bombshell New York Times exposé in which five women claim that C.K. masturbated in front of them more than a decade ago.

MS comedian Tig Notaro, whose first comedy album was released by Louis C.K., said she heard of his reputation from other women and suggested it's not exactly a secret in the comedy world. But there is an article about Louis C.K. and similar circumstances that just showed up the NY Times, and it is damning to say the least.

The New York premiere of Louis C.K.'s upcoming film, I Love You, Daddy, has been canceled at the Paris Theatre on Friday.

Before the Times story posted this morning, the Orchard said it had canceled the premiere of I Love You, Daddy. "I remember thinking what a repulsive person I was being by responding the way that I did". She did what he asked but questioned the behavior, telling the Times, "It was something that I knew was wrong". They claimed that Louis C.K.'s manager Dave Becky wanted them to stop sharing the story, and they told the Times they felt they had been warned to stay quiet.

Radar has previously reported C.K.'s history of sexual misconduct.

As rumours have swirled about alleged sexual misconduct in recent years, C.K. has denied any allegations of wrongdoing. During the call, she said, she could hear him masturbating.

Louis C.K. has won multiple Emmy Awards for his work on the FX comedy series Louie. A fifth woman anonymously accused the comedian of masturbating in front of her, which she said she allowed at the time because of the comedy world's lewd culture.
