Manchester City have the highest xG (Expected Goals) total in the Premier League this season; 15.1 - suggesting that the quality of chances they've been presented would see the average side score 15 goals in these matches.
Manchester City's Sergio Aguero could be out for as long as two months, say some reports.
The Argentina global striker was involved in a vehicle crash in Amsterdam, after the taxi taking him to the Schipol airport, crashed into a pole.
In a statement, City said Aguero was in Holland "on his day off" and Guardiola was adamant his star had done nothing wrong.
The incident happened in Netherlands, where the Argentine was on a concert during his free day.
"I don't know, I'm not a doctor, I don't know exactly what he had".
"Of course it was an accident, fortunately he'll come back and recover as soon as possible". Though the 5-0 win at home to Liverpool was impressive in the way City dismantled Jurgen Klopp's team in the second half, the first half dismissal of Sadio Mane denied Liverpool the chance to truly test City's chin.
PEP: No not yet (spoken with Aguero).
"I think when you look at City's creativity, I think you could name probably five players that you need to watch out for, because if you keep one of them quiet then you've still got to look after the other four", said the former Premier League victor. "I'm very happy for him". First impression is he has broken his rib. Pep is a really good coach and I follow his game. "It hurts me badly, I'll be discharged in a little while".
Guardiola insisted repeatedly he had no qualms with Aguero travelling overseas for a late night out on his day off. "I am not the police", Guardiola told reporters on Friday.
"If you ask the manager there is always something to improve but we know that we are a great team, we have great players and it's just up to us to prove that every fourth day", he added.
Manchester City lost both Premier League matches against Chelsea last season.
