Dembele will only leave Dortmund for right price - Zorc

In full knowledge of Barcelona's situation, Dortmund are determined to get value for French playmaker Dembele, who scored 10 goals and contributed 27 assists for them last season.

Dortmund have already rejected an offer from the Catalan club for Dembele, reported to be in the region of €100 million, but say they are willing to sell if their demands are met.

"It is not that Ous is making fun of us, he simply declines to do his job". That is a new quality.

Watzke added in his Sky Germany interview: "You have to talk about the role of the glorious club FC Barcelona".

However, Barcelona won't likely give up on their pursuit as the recent Super Cup home and away losses to Real Madrid have further forced their hands. By coincidence, [Dembele] then doesn't show up for training on the Thursday.

"The timing of these events is very curious".

However, Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has revealed Dembele will only leave if Barcelona meet their asking price.

They want him, but he is under contract for four more years and [Paris Saint-Germain] have just given them €222m for Neymar.

The 20-year-old winger is one of Barca's top targets as they attempt to fill the void left by Neymar's £198m world-record transfer to PSG. Otherwise, there won't be.

Dortmund have suspended Dembele indefinitely after he failed to turn up for training, and are desperate to keep hold of him. "Then it is possible, of course [that Dembele has a future in Dortmund]".

However, Watzke has been quick to dismiss those suggestions, telling Kicker: "Barcelona has not moved a millimetre closer to finishing the Dembele transfer".
