Gareth Bale is enjoying life at Spanish champions Real Madrid and has committed his future to the club, the Welsh worldwide said after the side's Champions League triumph, Saturday. "We are winning trophies and I am happy".

From there the squad headed to the club's Santiago Bernabeu where a capacity 81,000 fans are expected for further celebrations, including a lights show and firework display.

Ronaldo Jr. was on the Bernabeu pitch on Sunday as part of Real Madrid's celebrations for having won the Champions League title the night before, defeating the Italian giant Juventus, 4-1, at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

No team had retained their trophy in the Champions League era until Ronaldo and his team-mates in the Welsh city, and it sparked wild scenes in Madrid.

"To play a final in your home city is incredible but to win it is better still, a great experience", Bale said.

The Frenchman, who won the Champions League as a legendary player for Real between 2001 and 2006, has enjoyed spectacular success since taking his first role in senior management just 18 months ago.

"This is what we are here for".

'I always try to do my best for the team and things are going well. You can always count on me'.

Gareth Bale has opened up about his future at Real Madrid, claiming he's happy despite speculation linking him with a summer move to Manchester United. I'd promised that, if we won the Champions League and I scored a goal, I'd do it.

With Zinedine Zidane's side scoring in every match this season and proving themselves as the elite side in Europe this campaign, Madrid players have made up the majority of the Champions League squad of the tournament, which was voted for by UEFA Technical Observers.
