LeBron James discusses return to Cleveland Cavaliers in Uninterrupted's 'The Shop'

Posted June 12, 2017

They face a 3-0 deficit, something no team has ever come back from in National Basketball Association postseason history, and to make matters worse they're up against one of the best teams in National Basketball Association history in the Golden State Warriors.

"My mom was definitely like (expletive) that, we ain't going back", LeBron explained.

For Paul Pierce, Durant's Game 3 performance was further vindication of a stance he took regarding the mantle of who the best player in the National Basketball Association now is. At least one, maybe one or two seasons-me, Melo, D-Wade, CP- we can get a year in.

"I really hope that, before our career is over, we can all play together". I played against some great teams, but I don't think no team has had this type of firepower. If James was guaranteed to be in tow-or there was no fear within Cleveland's organization that this could happen-that kind of restriction likely wouldn't have been in the deal.

Durant's game has elevated this season with the addition of a new-found passion for the defensive side of the ball, and while his numbers aren't what James has been putting up statistically, they reflect a model of consistency - shooting over 50 percent from the field in nine straight postseason games and 11 of his last 13 games since the start of the playoffs.

James, Kyrie Irving, who scored 38, and J.R. Smith combined for 95 points and shot 36 of 66 from the field but the Warriors countered with Kevin Durant's 31, 30 from Klay Thompson and 26 from Steph Curry.

I'm here to offer a ranking, 30 to 1, of the likelihood LeBron James would choose that franchise for his final (or close to it) significant National Basketball Association contract. "So I lay it all on the floor, and I did that tonight, gave everything that I had, both mentally and physically". I got to talk to y'all again right around July.
