Moto G5 smartphone launched, priced at INR 11999

However, despite being developed for the mid-market, it is wrong to think that the G5 and G5 Plus are slow smartphones.

On first look, the G5 looks very similar to the G5 Plus. The back also has the round camera module, the secondary microphone and the Moto logo. But the device still feels good to hold and remains a handsome part of tech history.

The smartphone giant Motorola is back again with its new awesome device and a groundbreaking specification. Also, what's also important is that you won't have to wait in any online queues unlike many Xiaomi devices to land yourself a G5. This phone also has accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. They've allowed the consumer to be trusted finding their own apps if they do so require them. Even play or pause your music without unlocking your phone. The addition of the Google Assistant means that users can send messages, make calls, navigate, and manage their tasks, simply by holding the home button.

Design-wise, there aren't a lot of changes that are expected in the device. Surprisingly good color can be captured - even in low light - and with this build the entire photography experience just feels a lot better than it did past year with the G4 Plus. Moto G5 is also featuring a fingerprint sensor, which is installed on the front button. As for the Snapdragon 430 which is inside the Moto G5, well, it is no slouch either. The Amazon Prime members will get Rs. 1,000 cashback on using Pay Balance. The Galaxy S7 still costs $600 Dollars - at least - and has the same image sensor inside. Reports have also hinted at a cheaper Moto X variant that will carry 12 MP sensor for its rear camera. The camera feels fast in terms of shutter speeds and focusing but quality is just average. The more mAh for the G5 Plus is justified because of the bigger screen although we feel that number should have been bigger.

But perhaps my favorite part of Moto G5 is the software. Battery life has turned out to be top-notch, lasting at least a full day with mobile data and a relatively intense amount of work being done. I got my hands for a quick look at the smartphone and here is what I think about the smartphone.

The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus are both all-metal phones with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and splash-resistance coating.

The Moto G5 and the Redmi Note 4 are not readily available for purchase, with the latter listed as coming soon while the former gearing up for a launch later tonight. Priced at Rs 11,999, the smartphone comes only in 2GB RAM and 16GB storage version. Both the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus are carved out of aluminum and will be available for buying in lunar gray and fine gold options.
