Whatever the case, the Galaxy S8 will be an essential launch for Samsung, which is trying to recover both financially and perceptually after the unfortunate recall of the Galaxy Note 7. Volume and Bixby buttons are placed on the left side of the phone.
Well, now it seems tech website BGR has obtained actual images of an actual Galaxy S8 smartphone. The edge-to-edge display is likely to be one of those things, but we're yet to see what other similarities these two flagship phones will have it store for us in 2017. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is the high-end flagship Smartphone by mobile giant Samsung which launched previous year in Bangladesh. We also know about Bixby, the smart voice assistant that's going to be featured on the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. As is the case with rival phones, the Galaxy S8 supports microSD cards up to 2TB in size, though 256GB is now the largest available capacity. The two variants will be similar in design, except for the fact that the standard S8 will have a 5.8-inch screen, while the larger model will feature a 6.2-inch display. The oblong home button on the front of the phone that used to house the fingerprint reader has been removed, allowing Samsung to substantially shrink the bezels above and below the screen. The back button of a Samsung device is typically on the right side of the smartphone leaving people unfamiliar with the layout hitting the wrong button constantly.
The front camera on the Galaxy S8 is visible, with a number of sensors above the display, one of which is surely the iris scanner.
However, there are also missing parts in the Samsung Galaxy S8 units, like its 3.5mm headphone jack which seemingly imitating Apple designs.
