'My snake got stuck in my earlobe' - pet owner seeks hospital treatment

A woman in Oregon, US, was lovingly playing with her pet python before it got a little too nosy and slithered through her unusually large ear piercing hole and got stuck.

Glawe says she and Bart, her pet snake, are inseparable. "I didn't move because I really thought he was like attacking the side of my head", she explained.

Turns out it wasn't Bart's smartest plan, because he got stuck halfway through, and Ashley had to go to the hospital to have him removed. "Now, believe it or not, I'm sitting here in the Emergency Room with Bart stuck in my f****** ear".

That's when she called 911 and the fire department showed up.

Most people don't expect their pets to send them to the emergency room, but that's exactly what happened to one OR woman. Well, what do you do about a snake in your ear?

"He acted like nothing even happened and was totally chill", she said. Her original post to Facebook has gone viral, generating over 32,000 shares and 23,000 likes.

She told friends online that doctors "numbed my ear, stretched it more, and lubed him up to get him through without having to cut my ear".

She writes that she and Bart are doing fine.
