Posted December 05, 2016

The stream will feature exclusive footage from the upcoming movie. We too, are beyond excited for the release of Star Wars story 'Rogue One', and we can't blame anyone for jumping the gun and wondering about a potential sequel. For those unfamiliar with Rogue One, the story takes place before the events of A New Hope and centers on a group of rebels who are sent to retrieve the plans for the Death Star.

The event will begin streaming at 1 P.M. ET on Friday, December 2. The cast involved in stream include Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Donnie Yen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendhelson and Mads Mikkelson. Fans can submit questions on Twitter for the cast to answer during the event by Tweeting with #AskRogueOne. Go ahead and bookmark rogueone.twitter.com, because that's where this video event will unfold. The only movie to make higher pre-sale numbers was a year ago when the previous Star Wars was released, Episode 7: "The Force Awakens".

And just in case the Twitter event isn't enough for your Star Wars fix, People is also releasing a special newsstand edition on November 30 called "Star Wars: The Secrets of Rogue One", featuring a VR bonus including goggles, in addition to the original "People Special - Rogue One: A Star Wars Story", which is premiering November 30 on the People/Entertainment Weekly Network (PEN).

That's certain to be an exciting event! In fact, we've even seen in trailers and TV spots characters specifically using the language, "I'm with you" in addressing Erso. Are you planning on contributing to and/or watching this livestream session?
